French 3-in-a-Row & 4-in-a-Row Animal Games

A set of fun differentiated three-in-a-row and four-in-a-row games to learn the names of a variety of animals in French using speaking and listening skills.

The following resources are provided:

• Animal 4-in-a-row boards with colours x3
• Animal vocabulary sheets x3

Resources provided are differentiated to enable pupils with a range of ability levels to participate in the game.

This material can be used to teach the following National Curriculum languages attainment targets:
• To listen attentively to spoken language and show understanding by joining in and responding;
• To engage in conversations; ask and answer questions; express opinions and respond to those of others; seek clarification and help;
• To speak in sentences, using familiar vocabulary, phrases and basic language structures;
• To present ideas and information orally to a range of audiences.
